As you might know, bones provide protection, enable mobility and contain vital minerals to help the body function normally. On October 29, 2007, Dr. Walter and Dr. Burton were able to sit on a panel with Mary Lou Retton, well known Olympic Gold Medalist, and speak about the amazing benefits of hip replacement. Audience members were able to ask questions to both physicians, as well as Ms. Retton, to find out about reasons for hip surgery and what to expect from the entire surgical experience.
